Get into our heads!

The Dark Fiction Spotlight

We want horror, we want the exotic, the schizophrenic, the nude, the undead, the surreal, the stomach-jerkers, and more. We are open themed. Make us think, or puke, surprise us with poetry, purple prose; suck us into the reality of your dream worlds. Do it with flare, do not make us stare. The Dark Fiction Spotlight accepts all dark fiction and its sub-genres, as well as horrotica, extreme horror and LGBT. We are extremely open unlike other markets out there. We want new and established writers, maybe a ghoul or two.

The Dark Fiction Spotlight: Proudly your shining hope amidst the abyss.

Sins & Tragedies

The Dark Fiction Spotlight editorial staff presents to you the cover art for their collaborative collection of fiction entitled SINS & TRAGEDIES. Cover art was designed by Chuck Hodi, a fantastic painter of the mystical, the macabre, the horrific.

Inside the collection are three stories from each of the editors here at the magazine, all scary, all fun, all that takes you on tours inside their minds and slippery souls.

When all is finalized we will post links where to purchase the book, and then we will be getting our “Best Of…” anthology on the way as well.

Top Ten Finisher: Preditors & Editors Reader’s Poll.

(Artwork by: Mike Kerins)

We asked and you spoke up for us. The very first year we’ve been in business, we’ve officially become an award winning magazine. It looks that we’ve placed 8th in the top ten finals, which is pretty good for the new guy if you ask us.

Just some of the things that were said about TDFS magazine:

The editorial crew is responsive and supportive.

Fresh, new inspiring fiction and poetry

The Dark Fiction Spotlight is rather new, but offers quality writing with every issue.

This is a great magazine to begin your submission mission. They are great and really love accepting submissions from unknowns from around the world

Thanks for the support and here’s to doing even better in 2011.

Much love,
TDFS Team.
